Wasps in action
With the recent spell of hot weather, many insects have come out of hibernation and are busy building their respective homes ready for the summer. Queen wasps are steadily appearing and can be seen looking for suitable nesting locations, both above and below ground. Once a suitable location is identified, a nest is built, eggs are laid and the work begins. As more eggs hatch, more workers are produced and the nest will quickly grow in size and activity.
