Last year the headlines for a long time featured False Widow Spiders. The newspapers and TV were full of reports of people coming across these creatures and suffering bites as a result. In fact they have been part of the British environment since the 1800’s. They are still here but at this time of the year with colder weather, far fewer conflicts occur.
